Easter Opening at the Ruskin Library

The Gallery at the Ruskin Library will be closed from 4pm on Thursday 21 April until 10am on Monday 9 May.  We will re-open with our new exhibition

Drawings by Frederic, Lord Leighton, from Leighton House, London

Loans from the collection of Leighton House, of drawings recently conserved with assistance from the Heritage Lottery Fund.  Frederic Leighton (1830-1896), President of the Royal Academy and a friend of Ruskin, was the only Victorian artist to raised to the peerage.

The Reading Room will be open for some of this period – by appointment only, as normal. Please email us at ruskin.readers@lancaster.ac.uk to make an appointment
